A look back to TEDxPlazaCibeles 2011

Almost a year ago, it took place the first TEDxPlazaCibeles event, on June 25th. Today we look back and remember that day, as a day full of joy, knowledge, ideas, projects, stereotypes and people willing to do things better. That day a great community gathered together to share “ideas worth spreading”. People from different places, like the United States, France, Mexico, Germany and off course, Spain!

Today we look back to remember some of our speakers that day, like Coral George teaching us how to learn and speak a better English; or Dale Stephens explaining that is not crazy if you don’t take a regular college education; or Manuel Maqueda showing to the audience, just a single picture to make you realize that we have just one planet to take care of; or Mario Pena telling us that there is an alternative to the actual copyright system. Well, I cannot explain it as well as our speakers did at TEDxPlazaCibeles. If you want to recall the talks, you can watch and share all of them, by clicking here.

Also, you can take a look at the pictures of last year or the drawings done by the guys of “Dibujo a Domicilio”, who did an awesome job. Well, as you might know TED is not just about the talks, it is also about the experience and the people involved in it.

Thank you for being there and supporting us last year. This year we are coming with a new edition of TEDxPlazaCibeles, filled with great speakers, new ideas and a new experience to share with all of you. TEDxPlazaCibeles2012 is ON!!!
